ICT
| The ICT threaded insert was designed with the aim of providing a high resistance thread in applications that involve the use of thin metal sheets and soft or fragile materials including plastics, resins and composites. |
| This was possible thanks to the creation of a geometry that allows maximizing the contact surface, which is up to 570% more than a standard insert of the same size. |
| This gives considerable resistance to the extraction of the insert from the application. Furthermore, the ICT rivet nut has large contact with the installation surface away from the application hole, thus eliminating the risk of deformation of the application hole even in the case of very soft materials. |
| These technical characteristics, in addition to the large clampable thickness, make the ICT nut usable in numerous types of applications.. |
